Back by popular demand, our Twelve Days of CADD Care blog series returns this year! It just wouldn't be the holiday season without our team joining together to provide a round of helpful tips, tricks, and tidbits to make your life easier. So without further ado, let's kick off the third annual series:
On the first day of CADD Care, the CADD Team gave to me… Expert Insight!
We love sharing best practices and innovation in the industry; which is why we enjoy participating in and hosting events like our Ask Us Anything: AEC Panel Discussion and the BIMxt Network. These events give direct access to AEC experts in an online forum so you can access them virtually anywhere.
The Ask Us Anything: AEC Panel Discussion
We all have questions in our day-to-day work, but a lot of times, we don’t know who we should ask. At CADD, we get lots of questions from our clients through our CADD Care helpdesk, classroom training, or while assisting on a project. And we love finding the answers - In fact, we geek out over them.
That is why our Ask Us Anything: AEC Panel Discussion has become a favorite event that we host throughout the year. During these events, we take your software, implementation and workflow questions and ask them to our panel of technical experts and support team. They answer your questions live and give additional tips and supporting content along the way. It is always fun to put our team on the spot and test their knowledge while learning something new. Bonus points if you stump them – it’s rare and it drives them crazy!
Think you can stump our experts? Gather your best questions and register now for a special December edition of our Ask Us Anything Panel Discussion on Tuesday, December 7th! Visit our Events page for more information.
The BIMxt Network
It is always interesting to hear from our peers about what they are doing to enhance the AEC industry. In fact, it is quite fascinating to see the tools and techniques people are creating and utilizing which is why we love the BIMxt Network.
Each month, we bring together leading BIM experts to provide a platform for discussion of challenges and accomplishments when using models for design, construction and building operations. From Automation to Modeling Coordination to Generative Design, the BIMxt Network covers the ever-evolving conversation of BIM so that you may learn from others who are working with similar processes. Our moderator, Dana De Filippi – Associate, BIM Technologist at SmithGroup – leads the discussions and takes questions from the attendees to fuel the conversation. It is a fun and therapeutic way for us to come together and talk BIM virtually.
Visit the BIMxt Network on LinkedIn to learn more about upcoming meetings and become a member.
We hope to see you (virtually) at one of our upcoming events! As always, reach out to us if you have any questions.
Check back tomorrow and the rest of this week to see what other tips and tricks the CADD team has in store for the remaining Twelve Days of CADD Care.
