New Autodesk Account Module – Visibility into Upcoming Transactions

January 15th, 2025

When I was a kid, one of my favorite toys was the Magic 8 Ball. It looked like an oversized pool ball but had the ability to predict your future. Autodesk has come out with a new module within Autodesk Account - similar to a modern-day Magic 8 Ball - that will help admins see all of their upcoming transactions scheduled in the next 90 days.

This module on the Autodesk account Subscriptions and Contracts page summary tab now offers at-a-glance visibility into upcoming expirations, payments, quotes, and invoices within 90 days. With greater visibility into upcoming transactions, customers have an improved, user-friendly experience that helps them keep track of subscriptions, ensure there are no surprises, and quickly manage their Autodesk products.

The new module featuring upcoming transactions builds on improvements launched throughout the past year, making it even easier for purchasers to manage Autodesk products.

The upcoming transactions module is visible to all global admins, however, only purchasers can manage corresponding actions.

Under Billing and Orders on your Autodesk Account page, you can view quotes, invoices and credit memos, order history, and payment methods. Admins and contract managers see additional information about subscriptions and contracts.

The Subscriptions and Contracts page includes:

Summary tab - Cards for each Autodesk product that show:

  • Number of subscriptions or contracts

  • Number of seats

  • Number of teams

Subscriptions and Contracts tab - Rows for each subscription or contract that show:

  • Product

  • Subscription ID

  • Team

  • Number of seats

  • Term

  • Automatic renewal or expiration date

Clicking on a subscription or contract row provides access to further details.

Alerts - Notifications appear to alert admins about:

  • Payment errors

  • Last chance renewal opportunities

  • Upcoming expirations

With this new visibility, we recommend admins and purchasers review this tab regularly to keep tabs on upcoming transactions.
